Jib Crane

Posted by ProTek Crane Solutions on 29th Apr 2024

The jib crane can be an efficient choice for many businesses to lift and move products and materials in a tight work area. Protek Crane Solutions has an extensive line of jib cranes that come already mounted to a vertical mast or a model that our installation technicians can mount to a wall or attach to a beam or ceiling.

One of the more versatile cranes we sell is the Foundationless Jib Crane. This type has several characteristics that make it an excellent choice for many commercial and industrial businesses.

  • Quick Installation – Protek technicians can set up one of these cranes in an hour or less, depending on the size purchased. It allows us to set up a new production or repair station rapidly and keep the time we interrupt a business at a minimum.
  • Cost Saving – No foundation means no money spent on pouring a concrete slab, bringing in a contractor or specialized equipment, or losing income due to shutting down a production line.
  • Adaptability – Our technicians can break down and move a Foundationless Jib Crane as quickly as they set one up. This allows an owner to create multiple types of workstations and even use multiple cranes in conjunction.

An efficient, foundationless model for any business is our Spanco Indoor Series 600-1208-0808. It has a lifting capacity of 2000 lbs, weighs only 1615 lbs, and has an operational height (under the boom) of eight feet. This 600 Series model also comes with these features:

  • Eight-Foot Span – This extended beam provides the coverage needed for large item movement and precision operation for assembling sensitive or expensive equipment.
  • Four-inch Flange Width – It provides solid support and uniform distribution of the crane's workload. The flange also comes with multiple attachment points for secure, stable operation.
  • Robust Anchor Bolts – When properly installed, the load rate is 4400 lbs, nearly 800 lbs more than the crane's weight and its safe, maximum workload.

Each jib crane and other equipment Protek Crane Solutions sells complies with Federal regulation ANSI/ASME B30.21. Our technicians also inspect each crane to ensure it meets state safety rules before we put it on our sales floor.
